Exploration of Joy
Every Monday at Noon
Join us for a whimsical (light hearted) exploration of joy with curiosity. Our life is full of 10,000 sorrows and 10,000 joys. Our brain has a negativity bias to remembering and focusing on sorrows in order to protect us, which means we need to take some time regularly to cultivate the noticing of the joys with childlike wonder.
Our time together will include a check in and check out with a guided exploration of joy practice in between. The guided portion will vary from week to week but will always have the underlying theme of finding joy and being curious. Attempting to let go of the grasping for control and let go of the challenges of our life, without forgetting.
In these sessions, all parts of you and all emotions/feelings you have are welcome, even if joy is not the most present emotion right now. It's simply an invitation to have the intention to notice the lighter side of life.
